13 workers died in a coal mine accident in China

At least 13 miners have lost their lives until the last news of the collapse of a coal mine in eastern China's Shandong province. The authorities confirmed this information on Sunday (October 28th) local time. News Xinhua

Emergency rescue headquarters officials told the news agency Xinhua that the gateway was closed on both sides of the mine due to coal deterioration. More than eight workers are still trapped in the depth of about 74 meters of the tunnel.

It is further reported that the rescue workers have already removed coal from the tunnel to about 42 meters. Moreover, the remaining 32-meter coal wasted with both ends.

It is to be noted that on October 20, accident occurred in the coal mine in Langun Coal Mine Company Limited in Unchang County. At that time, 22 workers were trapped in the place. Later, it was possible for a worker to be rescued alive.
