The robbers were hacked by a robber named Fatema Akhter (15) in Shibpur upazila of Narsingdi district. During the robbery of Matiur Rahman, returning to Itakhola village in the upazila, on Tuesday (9th October), the robbery caused this killing.

Fatema's mother Razia Begum and brother Raihan were also wounded by the robbers. Fatema, a 9th class student of local Shaspur Kazi Mofiz Uddin High School, was killed.

Fatema, who was killed, was Motiur's sister-in-law back home.

The family of the deceased said that on Tuesday morning, a group of 20-25 people entered the collapsible gate of the house and entered the entrance. When the people started screaming, the robbers tried to run away with 1 full gold jewelery and 4 mobile phones. At that time, Raihan Mia grabbed one of the robbers and the robbers hit him with a sharp weapon. At that time, to save Raihan, the robbers ran away after the mother Razia Begum and her younger sister Fatema Akhter were stabbed.

Later, locals rescued them and took them to Narsingdi district sadar hospital, while the duty doctor declared Fatima Akter dead and the mother of the deceased, Razia Begum, was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition.

Officer-in-Charge of Shibpur Model Police Station Abul Kalam Azad said that the body of the victim was sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. Attempts to detain robbers are going on.
